Back to back Emily blogs?! You bet!
A little less than a week ago, Alex, (my best friend!) brought her daughter, Emily (my beautiful God daughter!) over for not one, but TWO sessions! If you’re a loyal blog reader you’ll know that one of these sessions was a cozy, magical, festive Christmas Mini Session in the Home Studio! (You can check that out here) But let’s talk about her six month milestone session!
Welcome to Texas, where winter looks (and feels) more like a very (sad) mild excuse for fall. Although we are already well into the month of December, this session is giving me all the creamy dreamy autumn vibes, and even though I am a die hard winter girly I’m in love with it! Seriously, I firmly believe this is some of my best work. By the end of the day little Emily had a camera in her face for a total of about 1.5 hours, which is a long time for a 6 month old baby! Babies need constantly changing stimulation so this can be a daunting task, but as always, she rocked it and the photos are proof of that!
This time around we decided to shoot at the San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas! As you probably know, I work with Alex and Emily a lot but this was our first time working together at this specific location, and *WOW* the timing could not have been more perfect!! The Texas sunset was not messing around, and created the most breathtaking glow that these photos needed. We also got lucky with one singular tree.. It was orange! (That’s a rarity here in Central Texas!)
Anyway… I’ll stop now. Let’s get to why you’re actually here… right after this huge thank you to Alex for once again choosing me to capture what matters most! I love you and Emily with all of my heart and it is always a joy to photograph you both! I can’t wait for our next session!

Cutie we are happy to have you in our life’s.
