When you book a session with me you’ll see that each experience guarantees you a certain amount of images. For example, the Signature experience guarantees you 20 final, re-touched & edited, digital images. But, you might be wondering..

Riley, how do you choose which 20 photos to deliver?

What about about all the other photos?

I think thats a fair question!

Before we get into the juicy stuff, I want you to know…

I’m not hiding hundreds of stunning photos that easily could’ve been delivered. When you get your gallery just know that you got the best of the best of all the frames we took during your session.

Now you’re thinking

But, Riley, how do I KNOW that they’re the best of the best?

Well, lets talk about that.↓

01. I eliminate the photos you would anyway

I start by eliminating all the test shots. These are the photos that might be out of focus (not that sharp), somebody is blinking, or not smiling. Basically the same thing we all do when going through all the photos you took on your iPhone (but I do all of that work for you!)

02. I’m a professional curator

What’s a curator? A curator is a professional responsible for creating a gallery that accurately showcases the artistic vision, just like a curator at a museum. Now that we got that out of the way, this means that as a full time photographer, I have finely combed through thousands of unedited images (RAW files) and I know how to choose all of the “keepers.” If I even *think* you would want the image, I keep it.

03. I took them!

Who else knows the images and story of your session more than me?! I promise you that i won’t forget to include anything that is important to you, or helps tell your story.

As with everything I do in my business, I aim to put *you* first. The more I can do to educate and empower you, and make sure you have the best experience, the better!
